It was on a cold winter's day in June 1999 in a converted garage that sisters, Ayesha Ally and Zaheera Mahomed conceptualised Fizzkidz, a fledgling company run by two mothers with loads of talent, dreams and kids.
According to the sisters, the 'Fizz' part of 'Fizzkidz' is an acronym of the first letters of the names of their kids at the time of establishment of the business.
Today Fizzkidz has become a definitive and competitive brand in the kiddies' exclusive sleepwear market, with over 10,000 sets of PJ's enhancing the slumber of as many kids in South Africa. With 4 ranges comprising 4 to 6 styles catering for children between 1 and 13 years of age, Fizzkidz were forced, in the year 2000, to abandon their home factory and outsource to a CMT factory as a result of burgeoning demand.
With the expantion of fizzkidz we have also intruduce ladies limited ed seasonal range .
Fizzkidz PJ's combine beautiful fabrics with a classic style. Ayesha, fashion designer with in excess of 20 years of experience in the clothing industry, is imbued with the task of bringing the Fizzkidz range to life. She adds,
